Rencia studied B. Comm Mathematical Sciences at the University of Stellenbosch. She then did her honours in Financial Risk management (also in Stellenbosch). After completing her studies, she started working at Sygnia Asset Management in December 2014 as a Unit Trust Administrator. She joined the Analytics Consulting team as a junior Investment Analyst in March 2016.
